Let there be light! Progress in the future Neurophysics Lab

The construction site at Heinrich-Düker-Weg 12 is making huge progress. Let there be light! The bricked-up windows in the basement recently were opened again, so that the Neurophysics Lab will enjoy the luxury of daylight. Soon, the openings, now provisionally closed with panels, will be replaced with actual windows. CIDBN goes outdoors!

Spring is in the air and the leaves are getting greener every day. Apart from the squirrels, which are actually out and about almost all year round, a pair of nuthatches is highly active right in front of the windows of Christina, Zoe, Julian, Reza, Michael, Neil and Matthias. Also a pair of ducks has extended their radius from SUB to the flat roof between GEMI and us (Britta enjoys this view). … Continued

“Neuro Treff Stammtisch”: bringing the neuroscience community in Göttingen closer together

After meeting people almost only online for quite some time, there is some kind of hunger to meet in person again.
As there is a growing number of Göttingen people involved and interested in research from computational neuroscience to basic neuroscience (from institutes like the ENI, DPZ, Bernstein Center, MPG, the new Campus Institutes), Michael and Giorgio would like to create a campus wide community where people can meet, … Continued
