Public lecture series (in German): The Consequences of the War in Ukraine
The lecture series of the winter semester 22/23 deals with the consequences of the war in Ukraine. The first three lectures address the consequences for agricultural production, trade as well as food security and agricultural policy from the perspective of practical agriculture, international agricultural trade and science. A lecture on the question of the independence of the Ukrainian language from a scientific point of view is followed by a critical look at the domestic political development of Ukraine before the war and since the beginning of the war. The complex role of the Orthodox churches will also be explained. Two further lectures will deal with the consequences of the conflict for the Ukrainian population and Ukrainian refugees in Germany and the EU.
